Our future will be greener! The Green Line is expected to improve your quality of life in Damascus. The last stage of consultation is mainly focused on the presentation of the impacts of the Green Line.

Exhibition in Hijaz station

Information will also be displayed as part of an exhibition organised in the Hijaz old Railway Station between January 27 and February 12, 2009 (12:00 PM to 7:00 PM every day).

Public meeting on February 24, 2009

You are invited to attend the upcoming public information meeting to learn more about the Green Line. The meeting will be organised on February 24, 2009 (12.00pm), in the civil engineering faculty of Damascus. There will be representatives from the Traffic & Transport Engineering Directorate - and the international consultants in charge of the study (Systra / Khatib & Alami) on hand to answer your questions.

  • In the main bus and microbus stations (Sumaria, Hop-Hop, Qaboun Pullman station).
  • In Al Hijaz railway station.
  • In the university (faculty of economy and education, faculty of civil engineering, cafeteria of the campus, faculty of literature, faculty of medicine).
  • In several submunicipalities (Moadamiyeh, Mezzeh, Kanawat, Old Damascus / Babtouma, Saroujah, Qaboun).
  • In the Syndicate of Engineers (Mezzeh Autostrad).
  • In Commercial Bank of Syria branches no. 1 (Moawiya Street), 2 (Al Nassir Street), 3 (Hariqua Square), 6 (Youssef Azmeh Square) and 13 (Mezzeh Jabal).
  • In several Telecommunication administrations (Nasser Street, Baghdad Street, Mezzeh).
  • In the Governorate (Youssef Azmeh Square) and in the Directorate of Traffic and Transport Engineering (Kafar Souseh).
